As an Approved Activity Provider (AAP), we provide a variety of walking expedition packages that include training, practice and qualifying expeditions. We can also be deliver a bespoke package to meet your requirements. The cost includes the use of tents, Trangia gas stoves, roll mats and 65lit rucksack to fit pupils.
Where required, we also provide additional staff to supervise or assess your accredited expeditions.
We are confident working with young people of different backgrounds and experiences, as well as those who have additional physical or neurodiverse needs.
We work alongside care providers to enable young people to participate in the DofE, and are incredibly proud to be a registered DFE Award disability specialism provider.
Training and methods are adapted as necessary to ensure they suit the learning styles and needs of the participant, such as using photographic and symbol route cards.
Our aim is to enable young people to increase their independence and self-confidence.
Expedition risk assessments, routes and itineraries are always available to your organisation.
We don’t provide transport or food for expedition participants, so you need to determine what you need and arrange this yourself.
